Color Namer

This is just too fun. There are so many subtleties in the many colors of the rainbow, and naming each one can be tricky.


Take the Echino fabric Owls & Tigers for example - is it pink? purple? magenta? plum? Well, the Name That Color tool will answer that question for you. According to them, it is Red Violet.

Also worth playing with is the Color Name & Hue tool. This is especially good if color blindness is involved. I can see using it to place each fabric into a main color category.
